Music Teas

A range of musical performances have taken place over the past few weeks, from platform concerts to year group teas. Tian, VII, reflects on the recent, much-anticipated VII music tea:

The VII music tea was a showcase of some of the most talented and dedicated musicians in this school. Everyone performed with great technical skill, enthusiasm and showmanship. Students played a whole range of instruments across the musical family, with even a double manual harpsichord making an appearance. After the long, somewhat lonely period of virtually recording and multi-tracking pieces that was lockdown, this was a much needed celebration of live music. The incredible support and rapturous applause was also a reminder of the heart-warming camaraderie amongst musicians at this school.
