This was my first movie night, so I didn’t know what to expect, but I assumed an ordinary movie night, where I accidentally sat behind a tall person and missed the important part of the movie waiting in the pizza queue. I was very wrong. Firstly, there were enough chairs for everyone. This meant that there was relative calmness, as there was not a high-stakes game of musical chairs happening, so everyone could find their friends and sit where they wanted. Secondly, there was enough pizza for everyone, and even for seconds! Along with this, there was an orderly pizza queue, as students were let out row by row, meaning nobody had to spend half the movie waiting for pizza, and standing people didn’t block anybody’s view. And the best part was that VIII helpers came around frequently, either with extra snacks or rubbish bags, meaning no one had to make trips to the bins. And when the movie was finished, the clean-up was quick and exceptionally effective, with the teachers all wishing us a good night as we left. Overall, this movie night was wonderful and I enjoyed it highly. I would recommend it to all future MIV and UIV, and thank the MIV and UIV form tutors and VIII helpers for making this possible.
