Everybody was free to do as they liked, and those in my form chose to get some board games from Mr Bennett’s office and engage ourselves in some friendly competition, trying to find the murderer in ‘Cluedo’. In another form, students researched SPGS in pride and quizzed each other on the school. Then came lunch, and positivity was high after Monday’s motivational assembly, but little did we know there was a surprise awaiting! Queuing up for lunch became a time dedicated for gawking at the school’s birthday cake, made specially by the chef who had written “Happy Birthday SPGS!” on it in icing. It certainly looked delicious – in fact, I’d say seeing the cake made my day!
