Amnesty Concerts

This year the Charities Committee have worked hard to reimagine our traditional Amnesty Concert.

This year the Charities Committee have worked hard to reimagine our traditional Amnesty Concert. Holly, VII, Vice-Chair of the Charities Committee, describes the new COVID-friendly format:

The past two weeks have seen a series of incredible concerts in aid of Amnesty International. Each year group has had a separate event during break time, showcasing amazing talents from singing to gymnastics in a superb fundraising effort. While unfortunately we could not hold a big concert for the whole school at once, the individual events have proved a great success with more opportunities with students from every age group to perform! On Monday morning we will have an assembly with some of the best highlights, and all footage of acts from every year group will be made available on the portal. If you would like to donate, please visit our JustGiving page here. Thank you for your generosity!

Alexandra and Tabitha, LV, enjoyed participating in their year group’s event:

In the St Paul’s community Amnesty is a much-anticipated event. Although COVID changed things slightly, the Charities Committee still managed to create a wonderful show for all the year groups to enjoy! On Tuesday breaktime, the LV headed to the Singing Hall to watch a fantastic array of performances; the LV acappella group singing Hallelujah, Raffy’s gymnastic routine and Chloe’s incredible performance of Dusk till Dawn. Each year had their own separate performance, and they were all amazing. We look forward to finding out how much we’ve raised!
