Alumna and Classicist Joyce Reynolds (1918 – 2022)
We are saddened by the death of Joyce Reynolds, MA Oxon, FBA (18 December, 1918 - 11 September, 2022; SPGS 1931-37), who was our oldest living Paulina.An eminent classicist and archaeologist, Joyce also enjoyed the title, given to her by Cambridge, of Epigrapher of the Roman World. She has a starring role in Tessa Dunlop’s best-selling The Century Girls (2018).
