Opening Doors Bursary Campaign

I feel so lucky every day to go to this school Tabitha Y12

Tabitha's Journey

This year we welcomed another group of bursary students to St Paul’s Girls’ School, taking the total number of funded bursary places to 86. We are embarking on a journey to increase significantly our bursary funding, and to further expand our partnerships programme, so that we share our knowledge, expertise and facilities as widely as we possibly can. We believe that any bright, intellectually curious girl should be able to access an exceptional education, regardless of her background. Bursaries change lives, but having a diverse community of differing voices and backgrounds also transforms and enriches our school.

Through our Fundraising campaign ‘Opening Doors’, which will launch in summer 2024, we aim to raise enough funds to be able to offer one in five of our pupils a means-tested bursary in the next ten years.

Tabitha (Y12) has been a bursary recipient since Y7 and was a founding member of the RAISE Committee at St Paul’s Girls’ School. In this film, she proudly talks about her amazing journey at SPGS: the friendly welcoming and fun place she found, the lifetime friendships she’s made and the opportunities that have changed the course of her life.
