Japanese exchange

Japanese exchange

From 24 February to 2 March, a group of students from Jishukan High School stayed in London for the second leg of our exchange.

Over the weekend we had the opportunity to take our exchanges around London – highlights included the London Eye, exploring the bustling streets of Soho and a group ice-skating outing. During the following few days, the Jishukan students participated in a range of activities while we were at school, including trips to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Cambridge – although unfortunately they didn’t manage to escape the poor British weather. Later in the week the Jishukan students also had the chance to visit SPGS, engaging in some of our lessons and getting to watch the magician. This trip presented a valuable opportunity for everyone involved: our exchanges were able to practise English and we got to learn more about Japanese culture. Thank you so much to Mrs Shao for organising such a memorable exchange!
