World Premiere Recording of Holst’s Iconic ‘The Vision of Dame Christian’
We need your help to make it happen at St Paul’s Girls’ School!We are looking for financial support for this exciting project, which will allow us to record all the music that Holst wrote for St Paul’s Girls’ School with the London Mozart Players and our own Paulina Voices. As well as the world premiere recording of The Vision of Dame Christian, the EM Records label disc will feature the St Paul’s Suite, Brook Green Suite (including the Gavotte which Holst withdrew from the original suite), The Playground Song (also a premiere recording) and Seven Choruses from the Alcestis. The recording will be made in the Great Hall and there are opportunities for donors to get involved.
