Our Open Events are exciting opportunities for our prospective families to see what a remarkable school and welcoming community SPGS really is.Our students are the greatest ambassadors of our school, and they always look forward to a chance to share with these prospective families their student journey, long list of societies, continuous pastoral support and importantly, our amazing community.
To warmly welcome our prospective families and to present one of our many offerings at SPGS, we invited some of our talented musicians to perform, showcasing the musical abilities and the range of instruments on offer. Matthea (V) performed on the piano and delighted the sea of prospective families who responded with numerous rounds of applause and appreciation.
We are thankful for the SPGS students in their support and enthusiasm at these events in making them a well-received success.
Admissions team
I had the honour of performing a solo violin recital at the 11+ Open Day on Tuesday 23 September, accompanied by Miss White’s characteristically exquisite piano playing. Representing SPGS as a Music Scholar on such an occasion and receiving the audience’s spirited applause was a profound privilege; I am deeply grateful to the Music Department for affording me this opportunity. My heartfelt thanks also go to the Admissions Team for their seamless organisation of the day and their warm welcome to prospective parents and students. I am certain that all who attended were both inspired by the High Mistress and senior member of staff’s thoughtful words and left with an even greater appreciation of the remarkable community that defines this school. It was undoubtedly a truly rewarding experience for all.
